May 2016 IPMS Ottawa Contest

These are the entries to the IPMS Ottawa, May 2016, monthly contest.

1st Place -  Skoda PA-II (Turtle) in 1/35 scale by Takom. The Czech designed armoured car got the unofficial name Zelva (tortoise) as it entered service in 1923. Only 12 were ordered and built in 1924-1925. Takom #2024.

2nd Place -  Douglas C-124 Globemaster II in 1/72 scale by Anigrand Craftswork #2067.

Bren Gun Carrier & 6 pound gun in 1/35 scale by Tamiya.

Sd.Klz 221 armoured car in 1/35 scale by Tamiya with Hobby Boss screen.

Panzer IV captured by Soviet army, in 1/35 scale by Tamiya with figures from a Russian kit, using Tamiya acryllic paints and chalk camo.

2nd Place (shared) - Cdn Army AVGP Cougar (early) in 1/35 by Trumpeter 01501

3rd Place - The old 1975 kit of the Heinkel He 115 on floats in 1/72 by Matchbox PK-401.
On the right is the new Hawker Hurricane in 1/72 by Airfix A02067.
